This book is great! You'll have a terrific time playing with all these cool tricks, stunts, and brainteasers. A wonderful collection of all the little gems that you love to perform for kids or really for anyone! So awesome to now have them all in one great book. Allan Zola Kronzek adds dozens of useful tips and solid presentational advice throughout the book. This is a real treasure and a great read. You'll love it!

I bought this book for a friend who has grandchildren and he loved it. He's just learning magic tricks to entertain them. I read some of the tricks before giving him the book and I was impressed. You don't need to buy anything special and it's a good way to quiet a kid down in a restaurant. I ordered another copy for myself!

I wish we had this book when the grandsons were younger (now they're in college). But our grand nephews and nieces will get a real kick out of these tricks once we hone our act together (No reason why grandmas and grand aunts can't join the fun along with grandpas and grand uncles). We love the great step-by, clear-cut explanatory graphics. Can't wait to see the kids' reactions!

Great book, easy to use. A note of caution- our 2 yr old grandson tried to shove a straw up his nose after seeing grandpa do that trick! We had to teach him the trick so he wouldn't try to copy what he THOUGHT grandpa was doing. Now they happily do the trick together. So use some wisdom, and you'll have a great time with this book.

I just need to keep my eyes open better for future books in the series.NYPD Red is a specialized unit of Detectives in the New York Police Department who are tasked with solving crimes that involve or revolve around the wealthy, politically connected, or just plain old celebrities. In other words these Detectives and their Captain need to know how to handle the elite and their harsh personalities.In this first book of the series the city of New York is trying it's best to lure the Movie and Television Industry to come to New York and make more flicks there instead of in Hollywood. Unfortunately a disgruntled and disturbed individual wants to sabotage the week of events scheduled. So, this person sets about to start murdering people who are wealthy, connected and part of the Hollywood scene.At first it seems like just one murder, but as the bodies pile up the NYPD Red team his overdrive to try and solve the crimes.There are a bunch of little sub-plots that run through the novel involving the two main detectives, Detective Jordan and Detective McDonald. It seems they have a past dating relationship and that causes some issues. BUT, they are the top two Detectives in New York and they have a very unorthodox way of solving crimes, they break the rules!Having worked with police officers as a police chaplain I found the descriptions of the characters very accurate and reasonable even though people might think Patterson has exaggerated them a bit.Will Jordan and McDonald be able to stop this crusader / murderer before he or she can kill hundreds? That's the question and the heart stopping action will keep you reading.Enjoy!

I have followed Christa's blog for over 2 years. I knew her style and enthusiasm would be absolutely amazing. I am having a hard time deciding which pattern to make 1st. A BROKEN V quilt in Red white and blue would be stunning. Candy Pop made with dove gray and a rarer gray background with black and white circles ...hmm I fan 2ai5 to doFacets is 5h3 BombAnd Pearl Gray...is terrific. I am sold on.that one÷)!.But my favorite thing about this book is Christa teach how without bring tedious.She gives you the facts..the how to do something that everyone can understand.Cannot wait to see the next book.

I'll never forget the first time I met Christa Watson. We were at QuiltCon 2015 in Austin, and I was leading tours of the Special Exhibits. It was the first day, and I hadn't had much of a chance to familiarize myself with the quilts in three of the four exhibits, and I was improvising somewhat. When we were looking at the Quilts of the Month, I asked if anyone in the group had made any of them, and Christa raised her hand. Not only had she made one, but her quilt was hanging right there in front of us. It was a pleasure to hear her describe the quilt and her design process, and she saved the day for me. I had to get the book, and was not the least bit surprised to see what an outstanding book she'd written. The book is brimming with great information, helpful tips, and gorgeous quilts! Highly recommended!! Kudos, Christa!!

Great book with lots of ideas for quilting. The book also includes several quilt patterns with directions and which quilting method the author recommends. She includes quilting with a walking foot and free-motion quilting. I highly recommend this book -- especially if you are looking for some new ideas or inspiration!

This book is an invaluable resource for quilters! From choosing your thread, to batting choices, all the way to picking and quilting the perfect design.... well, it just doesn't get better. As a long arm quilter, I know what it takes to quilt a quilt and Christa guides you flawlessly through the process of doing it all on your home domestic machine. Not only does she do this, but she give your 12 great quilt designs to make too! Don't wait.... grab this book!

This book is my favorite one so far.This book is very clear and easy to follow.I like free motion but also I want to try quilting with walking foot more so I am happy to have this book at my sewing room now.

This book is well written and the process is so well explained that even a novice like me is not afraid to try Christa's techniques. Plus, there are quite a few projects that illustrate her methods. I really will keep this one handy, and my next start-to-finish quilt will be one of these. Well done, Christa!

So far, my favorite quilt book...I love Christa Watson's patterns, and purchased this book so I could participate in her Facets QAL. Excellent quality book with lots of photos and easy to follow instructions.

I'm still a domestic machine quilting novice but if you follow along with the book and really practice, you will get the hang of it. It is a great jumping off point for getting started and a wonderful resource if you are looking for filler patterns. Although, many of the patterns would also make great all-over quilting texture for any quilt.
