This story was action packed, fun and sexy. It was satisfying to see the relationships develop and grow, as well as feeling the sexual tension between the main characters. There was so much going on that it kept me riveted for hours! The writing, story and characters are wonderful! I have preordered the next two book and cannot wait for them to come out!!!

Book two did not disappoint, we continue to follow Tora and antes relationship and see ing them in love I really do love Jesse and wanting him to finally find the one .... He always has you cracking up throughout the book And is a good friend to Tora .I really enjoy Tora and her friends . They are a great group and I'm glad she has them. I want more Brooke and max though...This time is nates life Spiraling outta control and you'll have to read on to see if he'll confide in Tora and let her be his rock through this like he was for her,So many omg moments....And then I just got totally sad when I realized I have to wait a few weeks until book three !!!A must read series

More ridiculous high school drama... but that is what makes this book and series so Awesome.This books seems lighter than the other.Looses a star for bad editing and spelling. I can't believe the amount in this book. But does not keep you from enjoying thestory.This story is also pushing the limits of reality. The drama on top of drama ALMOST becomes too much.Love Torad mom and the pool scene.Love the way we got to see Tora take care of Nate in this story. Love that while they are inseparable, they still do things separately.

Sheridan Anne did a great job on Broken Hill Halo, the story was well written with a great plot with many emotions. This was a great continue to this story. Nate and Tora have already been through a lot, well Tora has, she was a tough cookie. In this one, her and Nate and going strong, their connection is strong and the chemistry is sexy. They were great together. I'm looking forward to reading more of this series.Thank you, Sheridan Anne. Great work :)

I loved this book. If you love books that have hot guys, an angsty heroine, and drama then this is the book. This series is the perfect mix of teenage drama, family, and friends. When you think things can’t get any worse and yet they do. Tora and the Ryder Boys do what they need to do to get things done. This series has quickly become a favorite.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Holy carp what did I just read? That was amazing and blow my world apart. I wasn't sure what to expect since the first book ended on a good note but man did it just get better. I can't believe what these people went through. Not gonna lie, I did not see that one coming and I'm still reeling afterwards. This book blew me away and I wasn't expecting it to be so good! Way better than the first of you ask me!

This is the second book in the series and it continues where the first left off. The three musketeers as I call them find themselves immersed in another drama and find themselves once again coming to each others rescue. The drama comes in a different form but it fits perfectly with this storyline. I love these characters and I cannot wait to read more of this wonderful world.

The book is a good teen and young adult romance read. The book is the second story in the Broken Hill High series, and it pick up right where the first story left off. The story has a good story line. The characters are good.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

MUCH better than the original version (though I still disagree with the 20gms of carbs/day limit in the first phase). More flexible, and involves more fruit.

So fascinated by this book and the Atkins diet. However, I'm still reading this book. It has all the information you need to know about the Atkins diet, or just a low carb/high fat diet. It lists everything from the foods you can and cannot eat, all the way to actual Atkins success stories. I borrowed this book from my grandmother and liked it so much I bought one for my sister who has PCOS, which is a nasty metabolic disorder in women that affects hormones, fertility and insulin levels. Based off the many success stories with this diet and PCOS, I'm highly anticipating her results. I myself have lost 20 lbs in the last 2 months with this diet. I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to lose any amount of weight! The pounds are literally just melting off. Cliche, I know. The weight loss is so fast that in a matter of DAYS my stomach had shrunk (can attribute to gastric bloating or water weight loss) and my pant legs were looser on me. I can actually fit in a pair of skinny jeans I outgrew 2 years ago (Thank you baby weight. Sigh.). I used to roll my eyes when people would rant about losing weight because I thought that all diets were BS. I had heard of the Atkins diet years ago but upon mentioning it to my mother she quickly insulted the diet like many others before, and I never gave it a second thought. Then I met my husband and he introduced me to Atkins. He himself had results with a low carb diet and lost about 45 lbs. In the place of business I work at, I have a customer that frequently needs our services. After months and months of conversation he shares with me that he lost 96 lbs on the Atkins diet!! Truly amazing. If you don't buy the book, at least do your research.

This works. I did Atkins in 1998, lost 30 lbs and kept it off for a decade. Then my weight crept up. May 30, 2017 my annual bloodwork showed triglycerides of 290, LDL 68, HDL 29. Started Atkins again June 1, 2017. On July 15, 2017 I had my values tested again, just to be sure Atkins really worked. Result HDL CHOLESTEROL 41, TRIGLYCERIDES 102, LDL-CHOLESTEROL 98.A1C dropped from 5.7 to 5.5 in 6 weeks.All labs done at Quest labs. So it definitely works, and is easy to follow, BUT you must have strict adherence and you must actually read the book and refer back frequently, at least at first.Weight now back in normal range, but still planning to lose 5 lbs further.

I have hesitated to write a review because I am one of the success stories in this book. However, in light of T. Colin Campbell's unprofessional attack on this book, I believe I must speak up to share my story and the good health that has resulted in my following the Atkins plan. I am nearly 65 years old and have struggled with weight all my life. I've been on many diets including a vegetarian one with little results in either weight loss or improved health. In fact, my health markers were getting worse, and I suffered from arthritis, dry skin and elevated tryglyceride levels. My blood pressure was borderline. Since following the plan outlined in this book, I have lost weight, my arthritis has improved substantially (particularly in my neck and shoulders) and my dry skin (which 2 dermatologists had diagnosed as rosacea) has disappeared. My tryglyceride level dropped remarkably, but more importantly my HDL (the good cholesterol) has gone up and my latest BP was 117/76. I used to wear a size 18 -- now I wear a 6 or 8. All of these results came from following the plan outlined in this book.What disturbs me further about T. Colin Campbell is that he has clearly put out a call to his vegan followers to come to the Amazon site and give bad reviews of this book, as he posted this nonsense on his webpage. I don't have a problem with their chosen lifestyle, but I do have a problem with the many deragatory posts that make it clear that they could not have read this book as they have no comprehension of its contents. Shame on them. Using the Amazon review system to grind their vegan axes should not be allowed.Contrary to their ravings, the Atkins diet recommends lots of vegetables, a conservative amount of dietary protein and good fats. All recommendations that are supported by recent science. Read Gary Taubes "Good Calories, Bad Calories" or the distinquished works of Dr. Mary Enig. T. Colin Campbell has used this review process to further his own agenda and has encouraged his minions to post here. They disparage the book as well as mouth urban legend lies about Dr. Robert Atkins (a cardiologist, BTW). Anyway, read the book and make your own conclusions. Don't be led astray by these agenda-led and untrue attacks. This 65 year old feels 20-30 years younger!!

I read this book 2 years ago, and by following the steps closely, I had lost 50 LBS in 3 months. It was nuts! I felt great! The book was fun and easy to read, and really motivated me to sticking with it. What I liked about it was I didn't have to read through the whole thing all at once. I could read up to where I implement the diet, and stick to that chapter until I moved through the different phases.It's a life style change! They stress that a lot in the book. If you go back to eating your old ways, you will gain your weight back very quickly!

We checked this out from the library. After we returned it, our two year old kept quoting it. We got “Dancing Feet” and her favorite part of the book is the picture of Farmyard Beat on the back cover. So we bought Farmyard Beat. There were actual squeals of delight. It has a musical quality to it with rhythm and rhyme, which I think is what my musically inclined 2 yo enjoys.

Purchased this after Dancing Feet become our little one's favorite book. It has the same idea in illustrations and rhythmic flow, but the text is a little more difficult to read smoothly. There is also a lot of text on each page which is difficult to get through with eager page turners. :) I prefer the author's Dancing Feet book over this one, but it is still a cute addition to the library.One star removed because the sheep page in the book I was sent is printed upside down. I'm not sure if this is on purpose or an error, but either way, it isn't really necessary and it's out of place.

A favorite of both my 14 month old and the adults in our family. Nice rhythm and rhyme, attractive and appropriate imagery, the right amount of words for a little one. I keep this book within her reach, because it is as sturdy as board books come (the ones with flaps and holes won't hold up to a toddler). sometime she plays with it on her own.It flows in a way that my child starts to anticipate the next part (for example, she shakes her head "no" before I read the line "No one here or anywhere", so I know its really got her attention).My only wish is that the pages were matte instead of glossy, but that is a personal preference, so I won't mark it down for that.

A great book for your little one who loves a good beat. It's repetitive enough for your kids to pick up on it, without being annoying. The illustrations are colorful, and the characters are great farm animals

My 14 month old twins and 3 year old LOVE this book! One of my twins picks it out of the bookshelf and brings it to me to read every single day. Sometimes, he’ll just carry it around.It’s nearly impossible to read it without rapping/singing it. I’m pretty sure that’s why my kids love it so much.

My two year old loves this story. We read him a few books a day and this is one of his favorites. He likes the illustration and it's a good book to read in the morning or before bed. I have no problem recommending this to fellow parents and parents to be. Two thumbs up!

Kid book, simple rhyming pretty fun

Fun book. My daughter's preschool class was reading this for a while. She seemed to really enjoy it, talking about it at home, so I got her her own copy. "Sheep can't sleep, sheep can't sleep!" She sings the all the words she can remember, and loves it!

This book is very well written. It clearly described chemical bonding in quantum mechanics perspective. I am doing EELS to study chemical bonds in some materials and the book helped a lot.

Excellent text. Should be a good review or it will nicely complement a first course. Quick & efficient. No wasted time with this one.

GOOD BOOK.

Great when I used it for my inorganic chemistry class!

I went two years between General Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry. This was reccomended to me as a review tool by my teacher and I can't say anything bad about this book. It was perfect for me: a seasoned undergraduate who needed a refresher on atomic orbitals, lewis structures, MO theory and the like. The book is very well written; not a word is wasted. The explanations are clear, concise and engaging. It may be in black and white but the diagrams and illustrations are also extremely helpful. This primer was a great reference for me throughout the semester. It's accessible enough for anyone but as the title of my review suggests, I think it works best for someone who is rusty on General Cehmistry and needs a high quality, low-price, easy-to-carry review tool, and this book fits that perfectly. Highly reccomended!

I bought this for my 3 year old niece. We had already been reading a lot of Little Critter books at the time and this was perfect for the Fall. The stories are nice, short, meaningful, and have lots of nice pictures. I like that these books kind of teach my niece about the world. For instance, there is a story about going to a pumpkin patch. We read that several times and then, when we actually went to a pumpkin patch, she was an expert.The book is really good quality, solid construction and nice page quality. There is some gloss on the pages which is kind of different than some of the other Little Critter books we have, which are a bit rougher and have no gloss finish. As it is a big book and is hardcover, it is kind of heavy. I wouldn't want to have to hold it in the air for a long time, but just leaning it against something works fine.

I had a few of these books from working in a Kindergarten class years ago. I'm pretty sure I had bought them through Scholastic. When I started reading them to my kids (which originally look at the cover and were not interested) they ended up LOVING them. So, this book was a must have for our journey to begin reading. We read all of the stories in it over a few days and they still want to read them again. The kids didn't understand the part in the storm when they plugged in an old telephone. They kept asking why they didn't use a cell phone! Hahahahaha. They love the fact that they can "spot the spider" in every scene, though. As a parent, I love these books because they are short and can keep the attention of kids within a decent age range.

Great book, very festive. Every other story has an orange boarder 2in wide so the pictures are smaller in these stories but still a good size picture. I bought a hard cover a like durability for drops and rough use with two little boys and they stand the test of time a have one other little critter collection book still in great condition after 5 years. We love little critter stories.

Absolutely love Mercer Mayer & my kids do too. Love that this book has several stories in one book. Takes up less room on the bookshelf & I don't have to go digging through all the paperback books to find a specific story. Will be buying more hardcover storybook collections!

I was raised on these Little Critter stories and now reading them to my two little boys! They love them and I would deffinently recommend the Critter books to everyone!

Love these book collections great for trips we just grab the book and we have a bunch of stories to choose from!

As always kids enjoyed every story in this book. Nice hard cover, pictures are very nicely colored, and many details in each picture. Kids really enjoy passing the book around taking turns looking at the detailed pictures. Happy our family owns it now as our "forever" book to have forever :)
